With CherryPad America, CherryPal Jumps Into The Android Tablet Market

Finally the California based computer manufacturer CherryPal has launched its first low cost Android based tablet, the CherryPad America. This tablet is designed to fit into your budget perfectly with the guarantee of high quality performance. Powered by Android 2.1, the CherryPad America basically aims to combine power and low energy consumption into one gadget for a reasonable cost.

Price And Availability

The tablet is not intended to compete with Apple's iPad and is completely different in terms of hardware features and compatibility. Of course, as a result, the CherryPad can boast a much lower price than the iPad and in this case it's available with a MSRP of $188.

CherryPal has partnered with Zecozi, an online shopping company, to exclusively sell all the CherryPal products in United States. Adding to that every CherryPal product gets a 30-day money back guarantee and 1-year replacement warranty as well, should the customer not be satisfied with its performance, or if something breaks.

Product Specifications

Now down to the nitty gritty, the specs. The CherryPad America is integrated with a Samsung 800MHz ARM11 processor, 2GB of flash storage, a micro SD card slot for expansion, built-in WiFi and a 3200 mAh battery that will go up to eight hours. As far as we know, this 7-inch tablet runs on Android 2.1, but an upgrade to Android 2.2 will supposedly come later this year.

If you want the iPad experience, you don't necessarily have to pay Apple prices, as the CherryPad has shown us. Time will tell, however, if its low price is enough to convince users to overlook the feature deficiency.

I'm a die hard fans of Android based devices, as they are affordable compared to Apple iPad. Since, the launch of Android, I have continued to provide as much information as possible to the world on cheap, yet powerful Android based devices like CherryPad America.
